Music

I like music and our music teacher is Miss Muliaumasealii.This year I was in the dance crew for the production. I really enjoyed being a part of this. I hope I can be a part next year as well. For music this year I learnt how to play a few chords on the keyboard and on the Ukulele. I really want to be part of the band next year and learn to play the guitar as good as Dillon and Neo. My favourite part of music this year was playing on the ukulele.

Reading In Reading I have been learning to think about what makes sense and find proof. Writing This year I wrote stories about farming and athletics. Maths This year I was in Miss Ouano’s maths class in the Octagons group. I have been learning to solve problems like fun with fives. I’ve been learning my timetables and divided bys. Elearning I worked hard to make an animations about farming, Antarctica and Humpty Dumpty. P.E Our class learned sports like: rugby, cricket, triathlon, basketball and soccer. My favourite was rugby league. Conclusion This year I really enjoyed coming to school to learn more and have fun.

On Wednesday the year 1 to year 6 children went to the Manaiakalani Film Festival. It was at the Sylvia Park movies. The cinema was really big. We sat on the comfy couches, those seats are a lot of money. I sat with Owen and Aaron. The movies began. My favourite movie was by Room 14. It was called the Teen Beach movie.

Persuasive Arguments

We should have school from Monday to Thursday and Friday should be part of the weekend. No we shouldn’t because kids need to learn at. School so kids learn and get education but if you didn't go to school you will be dumb because In New Zealand should have school from Monday to Friday so kids more learn at school.

Riverside Camp

In the holidays I went to Riverside Camp for school. We went to Willow Park. It was fun there. We did lots of activities like quad bikes, green machines and crunchie hunt. I went to the disco. My favourite part was a game called Cops, Sneakers and Buyers. It was cool! I didn’t want to come back to school.

Ugly Duckling

Once upon a time, a mother duck was sitting on her nest of eggs for days. All the ducklings came out except one , it was the biggest egg of all. When the egg hatched out came a ugly duckling. Mother Duck saw that it was ugly and the other ducklings told it to go away and that it was ugly . The ugly duckling found a new home in tall grass . He wanted to make friends with geese but they told him to go away. The ugly duckling looked at the great white birds flying and he wanted to be just like them. They were beautiful and nobody chases them.

It was a beautiful day for our trip to kelly Tarltons. We travelled by a bus. Room 13 to 18 is learning about Antarctica.  The year 5 and 6s in team 4.

There was a school room. We walked down the stairs to it and  sat down. A lade cady  Janice. she sowe as 5 thing     

sun was shining brightly over the adventurous Okahu day playground. As Room 13 and Room 16 walked along the tall wet grass, water squished under our shoes. We zoomed along no the Flying fox and screamed “AAAAAAAA”.

My weekend

Mum, Dad and ani are going to see Koro and Nanny. They live far away. When they arrived they had some kai. They ate the bread. It was time for ani to go to bed. Ani woke up and got . She called out to mum came in. He told her that she didn’t need to be scared because there were watching over her. Ani and Koro went outside and looked up at the Kaitiaki . Ani went back to bed and watched the stars until she fell to saps.

Sammy told mrs Ngata that there was something scary hiding under Room 10. Mrs Ngatai grabbed some ham and her fishhing net and put it by the room and waited.The caretaker put a carbrd box with a plate of sardines outside the class. He waited and waitedo. Mrs Jones was the lbrarian and she had an idea. She put a saucer of milk and quietly waited. But still nothing happened. Then the children put strin and sparkle paper paper on a string and dangled it by the classroom. Finally the kittens cat  out by one by one cat and her kittens came out.

Immersion Assembly

On the first day of school we had Immersion Assembly. The teachers had to dress up and act silly. Our topic is called PSI and it stands for Pt England Investigates. My favourite was when the teachers in Team 5 presented My KItchen Rules. They had three cooks and they had to cook yummy but healthy food. Miss King had to judge if the food was healthy or not. Team 4 is learning about Antarctica this term..

Emperor Penguins

This story is about two emperor penguins named Gwin and Pen. Pen is the male penguin and had to go hungry for food.  Gwin had to keep the egg warm for 3 months. He had to huddle with the other emperor penguins to keep warm.  The egg hatched when Pen got back, it was time for Gwin to go hunt for food.

Last  Saturday me and my nana, koro and brother when to

watch iron man 3 in 3D.  It was cool and fun.  Have you seen iron man 3 in 3D? My favourite part is when all the Iron Men robots came out and fought with the bad guys.

Antarctica is the coldest and driest place on Earth. Did you know that whales live in Antarctica? Some whales have teeth and some  don't. The male whales are called bulls and the females are called cows. A baby whale is called a calf.

Rugby League

On Tuesday Room 13 had to go  Rugby League down to the courts  it was a lesson we met the coach name james.  the first thing we had to do was a warmup called Benji says when we were finished we had to practice passing back  to the person we challenged the other team. Next we played duck duck duck goose but we had to pass a Rugby ball we had fun. After that we had to learn how to defend and attack when we  have a turn at defend and attacking.  we had to say goodbye to the coach Jame. We'll see him again next Tuesday.

Dragons!

There were 4 Dragons named Damon, Daisy, David and Dora. They were very lonely. They wanted to make friends with people but the people got scared. So the dragons made a sausage sizzle and the people were their friends.
