camp Bentzon

On Tuesday we went to Camp Bentzon. We had to take a ferry to get there. When we were on the ferry we saw dolphins.

When we first got there we had to take our bags and food up to the place. It was really heavy. After that we had free time. I played volleyball.

We had team names they were Bentzon, Mansion, Kawau and Kats. I was in Mansion. We had a chant that we did for the concert.

I really hated the hiking because we had to walk up the killer hill but we all managed to make it. We walked to  new places and places we’d been before. On the walk we saw thousands of wallabies they were running everywhere. One of them ate a baby chick.

We also got to go kayaking and sailing. Kayaking was hard on our arms because we were paddling against the waves. We made a raft as well and we made it to the pontoon. A pontoon is a deck that floats in the water. It has barrels under it to make it float.

It was mean. I didn’t want to leave. I hope we can go back for year 8 camp.

how to be a good pt England

How to be a Good Pt Englander
To be a good Pt Englander you need to wear it with pride, which means wearing your uniform correctly. Being polite means you need to use your manners and to  be cyber smart you need to make sure you are careful on line and leave a good footprint.

Being a polite Pt Englander is to use your manners and say please, thank you and excuse me. When you ask Mrs Jacobsen for a pencil you need to say “can I please use a pencil?” When I get the pencil I have to say “thank you Mrs Jacobsen” because I am being respectful. When you want to get past someone you use your manners and say “excuse me please, may I go past?” When you are at Pt England you need to remember to be respectful and care about one another.

To wear it with pride at Pt England, I make sure I wear my school uniform tidily.  This means I tuck my  singlet  in so no one can see it. I make sure my uniform is clean. When I am on a school trip I have to remember that I am representing my school and everyone can see where I am from.

To be a cyber smart Pt Englander we need to remember to leave a smart footprint. To do this we have to make sure we

My Holidays

Brisbane, Australia

Oh Gosh! It was the day to visit my Dad and brother Zackriah!  In the holidays I went to australia in Brisbane. I went to my Dad and brothers for the 5 days.

I went to work with my day to make some money. I had to unload metal and to take it to other places. It was hard work.

We didn’t work all the time though. One of the days we went to Dreamworld. It has a lot of rides. One of the rides is called The Saw. You go back and forward, turn around up and down. You stay in one spot upside down and it is freaky.

It was so cool and I was happy but I didn’t want to stay there because I felt like I was cooking. It was so hot!
